WHAT IS IT?

«Dumbo can fly!» is a FAMILY MUSICAL, based on the original novel by Helen Aberson.

This REINTERPRETATION of the original story mixes THEATRE, ORIGINAL SONGS, CIRCUS ACTS, PUPPETS, SHADOWS and BLACK LIGHT, to reinvent the story of the most famous big-eared elephant in the world.

SYNOPSIS

The “Ruby Circus” is the most famous traveling animal show in the world!
Dumbo, a baby elephant, has just been born in the big top tent and the circus family will soon discover that he is not like the others.

Carla, the Tamer's acrobat daughter, becomes the little elephant's best friend and helps him discover his talent and find his place in the circus. Everything changes when the "Animal Liberation Activist" takes action and release all animals during one of the performances. All of them, except Dumbo.

Without the animals, the “Ruby Circus” is ruined. Or so thinks the Tamer, who will blame the rescuers for all his misfortunes, hiding the real reason for the disappearance of the animals.

Only Dumbo and Carla can save the situation, discover the truth, teach the Tamer that A circus without animals is possible and fly away into the wild to reunite with his Elephant Mother.

Today, there are still travelling circuses in which animals are deprived of their freedom, condemned to live their entire lives in cages and exposed to training that often involves violence.

Through the learning of the characters in the story, this new adventure aims to look to the future and presents the evolution towards a Circus that respects animal rights.
